Deref produces a wide range of granulated covering powders for ladle and tundish.

The main characteristic of the acid and basic Deref products of the Ecosiv and Steelin range is the high mechanical resistance of the micro-granules, which guarantees a high degree of homogeneity and a limited emission of dust.

The high performance of the covering granulated powders produces significant advantages in the ladle and/or tundish system in terms of thermal efficiency, thus ensuring minimum heat loss. The wide range of Deref products includes ladle specific powders, which are able to detect non-metallic inclusions in liquid steel. The environmentally friendly covering powders are designed to replace permanently crystal-silica high-content products.
